FUELING YOUR

EQUINE KNOWLEDGE

WELCOME

Here in Kenosha County, the 4-H Horse program offers young people many different opportunities to learn all about horses from caring volunteer adult 4-H leaders. These opportunities include monthly meetings, a camp/clinic training session, and horse shows.

In addition, the Kenosha County 4-H Horse program offers three distinct projects that young people may choose from depending on their interests and commitment level. These projects include the 4-H Horse and Pony Project, 4-H Horseless Horse Project, and the 4-H Model Horse Project. Remember you don't have to own a horse to be in the horse project!

Please note that this website is managed by volunteers. We do our best to update it as quickly and as often as possible. Our reference guide is our bible that details not only what you need to know but also governs to an extent the project. We hope that this site provides you with the information you seek.

Become a leader or buddy

Were you in 4-H as a kid? Do you enjoy educating youth about horses? We are always seeking leaders who have a passion for horses and bring fresh new creative ideas to provide the best experience for our youth. Buddies are partnered with horseless horse members to educate them on horse ownership and more.
