OPEN horse shows
The Kenosha County 4-H Horse Project hosts two open pleasure horse shows every year. Classes consist of halter, showmanship, walk/trot, english and western pleasure, horsemanship, equitation, and ranch classes. These shows are open to the public and our youth members. They are put on to provide our members a way to gain horse show experience, get their feet wet in the horse show arena, prepare for the county fair, etc. In addition, to giving back to the horse community which supports our youth.
