Our BIGGEST fundraiser of our year is our annual Tack Sale being held on January 28th, 2024. If you've never been to it, besides the actual sale, we have a large raffle/silent auction that raises funds for all our educational activities over the year. We are asking that every member reach out to 5 businesses, friends, or family members and ask if they'd be willing to donate an item or basket. These DO NOT have to be horse related items. Gift cards, home goods, really anything! We will share much more information at our November meeting, but January will be here before we know it, so I wanted to share this information with you as soon as possible to start collecting donations. There are two letters linked below to use when requesting donations, the attached Word doc can be personalized with the business and member's information - you should use this letter if possible and collect the donations yourself - please enable editing and save a copy on your drive and don't change the original. The link is a more generic letter that can just be printed and signed by the member. A Google sheet is also linked below to try and track the businesses we've contacted for donations so everyone isn't asking the same places. Please enter (or let me know so I can update) the places you plan on reaching out to - and please check the form before you contact a company. Please ask for the links privately.
