Fair season is almost here! Join us for decoration day, don't forget State Gymkhana & Expo entries are due August 7, and register for the August 9 Pre-Fair Show. The State Hunter & Dressage Show will be held on June 26 - June 28 this year at the Sheboygan County Fairgrounds, and registration must be in by June 1st. Registration is completed via 4-H Online They offer some amazing clinics on Friday and Saturday if jumping or dressage is something you'd like to learn more about - no experience needed in either, and you don't have to sign up to compete in the classes on Saturday or Sunday! There have been some changes to the state-level events this year, the biggest being that Arts, Creative Communication, Photography, Model Horse, and Team Problems have moved from the State Expo in September to Education Days in May. This does impact several of our members, and I hope some of you are still able to participate. Registration is now open for the Horse Leadership Conference on November 8th in River Falls. This is open to all youth in 7th grade or above as well as registered leaders.
