A quick reminder about our Educational Barn Visit tomorrow evening! 🐴

We’ll be visiting Millcreek Equestrian in Antioch on Wednesday, October 28, at 6:30 p.m. We’re looking forward to a fun and educational evening!

Annual Tack Sale – January 31, 2027

It’s time to start thinking about our Annual Tack Sale! For our newer families, this is the Horse & Pony Project’s biggest fundraiser of the year, and it takes a lot of teamwork to make it a success. We’ll be at a new location this year: Westosha Central High School in Paddock Lake!

This is an all-hands-on-deck event, and a volunteer sign-up will be coming soon. In the meantime, we’re getting an early start on the raffle and silent auction!

We’re asking each family to contribute one item for the raffle or silent auction. This could be a gift basket, gift card, or just about anything else you think would make a great donation. Items do not need to be horse-related! You can ask your employer or a local business for a donation, put together a basket, or contribute something from your own family.

To help with donations, I’ve attached a few resources:

  • Company List: These are businesses we’ve contacted in the past. If a name and date are listed, that company has already been contacted for this year. If you’d like to reach out to a business on the list or have a new business to add, please let me know so I can update our master list and avoid duplicate requests.

  • Tack Sale Flyer: A copy you can share with potential donors.

  • Donation Request Letter: A letter you can use when reaching out to businesses or asking for donations.

Every donation helps make our fundraiser a success, and we appreciate everyone pitching in! Thank you for helping support our Horse & Pony Project and our members.

We’ll share more details at our November meeting. In the meantime, check out the event on our Facebook page, and please start thinking about possible donations, and don’t hesitate to reach out if you have questions!

Thanks, everyone, for all you do for our project!
