Leadership Applications/Upcoming Dates

Happy Monday!

We are still taking applications for the leadership team. Leadership Form

There are 9 one-year-term youth seats open. These include the four executive positions (President, Vice President, Secretary & Treasurer) and 5 general seats. We will be voting on the 9 open seats at the annual meeting on Wednesday.

If your youth member is interested in leadership, please have them apply! They don't need to pursue an executive role unless they choose to; they'll still have a vote and help make this the best year yet! Open to youth in 7th grade and up (5th and 6th can also apply and will be on the voting board if we don't have 9 older youth)

There are also two adult seats open this year - these are two-year terms. Adult leaders are responsible for overseeing the youth and helping them prepare for meetings. The adult leaders usually lead the committees for shows, tack sales, clinics, workouts, communications, etc.

Ongoing - Annual 4-H Registration online

9/16 - Annual Meeting, 7 pm, Kenosha County Center, Bristol

9/18 - 9/20 - Wisconsin State 4-H Horse Expo, West Allis

10/7 - First Leadership Meeting for the new team - 6:45 pm, Kenosha County Center

10/18 - Open Speed and Fun Show

10/21 - Awards Banquet, 7 pm, Location TBD (Don't forget to vote for our fun awards - Hoof & Heart Awards)

🎉 Congratulations to Emilee, Breanna, and Reagan for competing at the WI State 4-H Gymkhana this past weekend! There was some tough competition, but they came away with some great results!
