Sorry for forgetting the registration paperwork last night! I will have printed copies at the show on Sunday if anyone wants to grab one there, but all the information is attached to this email as well.
State Expo is September 12-14 this year at State Fair Park in West Allis. Horses can be brought in on Thursday after 3 pm. You must have completed 6th grade last year to exhibit a horse/pony. Anyone that's completed 3rd grade may participate in the educational events.
Registration, coggins, and payment are due back to me at the July 15th workout or sooner.
To encourage participation in the educational events, the project will cover the cost of three educational entries per member. If you would like to enter a photo, art project, or a creative communication entry, but cannot get to Milwaukee, a leader will get your entries there. Judging and Team Problems are in person. If you are interested in participating in Team Problems, but don't have a team, send me an email, and we can try to organize some teams! Educational requirements are detailed in the Horse Educational Guidelines attached. I did not print this out.
The project will also cover the cost of the tack stalls, so do not mark a tack stall on your registration paper. All other costs are covered by the member.
Camping and dorms are available. Please check the attached information for due dates. Dorms can fit up to 6 (bunk beds) if anyone is interested in sharing. Everyone staying in the room must be listed when making the reservation.
If you have any questions, please let me know. Expo participation is highly encouraged, so please don't hesitate to reach out.
