Please see the below message from our neighbors to the north, the Racine 4-H Horse Project. They are inviting us to all their scheduled clinics this summer! Lots of opportunities to get the ponies out!

Hello Kenosha County 4-H Horse Project Members,

Racine County 4-H Horse project would like to invite you to participate in our 2025 clinics at the Racine County Fairgrounds. We just ask that you fill out a participation packet and return with a minimum $25 donation and you can then participate in all of our clinics at the Racine County Fairgrounds. The clinic schedule is below. You are also invited to join our annual horse camp on June 27th-28th. There will be additional fees for this. More info to come beginning of May.

Needed before you can participate in the clinics:

  • A filled-out enrollment form

  • Signed code of conduct, media release, and hold harmless documents

  • Signed concussion policy

  • A copy of the Coggins test for each participating horse

  • A Current Vaccination Record for each participating horse

    • Required vaccinations include tetanus, influenza, encephalomyelitis (E&W) and rhinopneumonitis (rhino). If self-administered, a receipt, date administered, and package label with serial lot # and expiration date must be included.

  • A completed Horse ID form. Premise ID is required.

  • A participation fee of $25 per participant will cover insurance and participation in all 4-H clinics. The 4-H invests over $2,000 yearly in clinicians for the events. If you are so inspired, additional donations will be accepted.

The following dates are the included clinics that the 4-H will be hosting. Weekdays are from 6-8pm. Saturdays are tentatively 8am-noon. An original copy needs to be presented and a trailer needs to stay on the premises. Clinicians will be announced nearer to the start dates.
